Film - Requiem for Detroit

Julien Temple's documentary is a vivid ecovation of an apocalyptic vision - Detroit, once America's fourth largest city became a truly dystopic post-industrial city, in which 40 per cent of the land in the centre is returned to prairie. Despite going bust, it is now a source of hope in terms of the 'alternative economy' and life styles.
