Yi Gong, Research Fellow. Sustainable Places Research Institute
Wednesday 12th June 2013 - 2:00pm
PLACE, 33 Park Place, Cardiff
Seminar hosted by the Sustainable Places Research Institute.
Previous studies have shown that the built environment in which older people live plays an important role in promoting or inhibiting physical activity.
Most work on this complex relationship between physical activity and the environment has excluded people with reduced physical function or ignored the difference between groups with different levels of physical function.
This seminar will explore the role of neighbourhood green space in determining levels of participation in physical activity among older adults with different levels of physical function.
