After appropriating in 2010 the slogan of Energiewende (energy transformation) coined 30 years ago by the nascent Green movement, the current Conservative-Liberal government after Fukushima began to tackle more seriously the shift to renewable energy. What are the challenges emerging from a policy of aiming for ”at least 80% of renewable electricity” by 2050?
