Virtual talks

Discover Cardiff is a free webinar series designed for Year 12 and Year 13 students who are interested in going to university.
Our Discover Cardiff programme will run from April and offer a series of talks and advice sessions across a range of topics related to higher education. The sessions are tailored to guide you through the decision making process - from how to choose a course to what a day in the life of a university student looks like.

Accessing the programme
You can secure your place on the programme through our booking form and we will email you the links to access each session which will usually be delivered via Zoom. We would encourage you to download Zoom to your device in advance of the events taking place to help avoid any issues on the day.
What to expect during a webinar
Webinars will be delivered by Cardiff University staff and students. You will be able to see and hear them, but they will not be able to see or hear you (so you don't need to worry about having access to a web camera or microphone). You will have the chance to submit questions via the Q&A function on Zoom.
