Deposit payment methods
If you are required to pay a deposit you will be advised of this in your offer.
You can pay online with a credit or debit card via the Online Applicant Portal - exact deposit amount only. This is the preferred payment method to be used. A receipt for the online payment will be available within five working days via the Online Applicant Portal.
You should be mindful that when paying the tuition fee you should deduct the deposit from the total fee and only pay the remaining balance. For example: total tuition fee due is £20,000 and the deposit paid is £1,000 so this leaves a balance of £19,000 to pay on registration.
If you are unable to pay using a credit/debit card then the following payment methods may be used:
Please transfer the required amount to the following bank account:
Lloyds Bank, 1 Queen Street, Cardiff, CF10 2AF
Account: Cardiff University Tuition Fees
Account No: 17852568
Sort Code: 30-67-64
IBAN NO: GB53 LOYD 3067 6417 8525 68
Reference format: application ID and programme code, e.g. 1412345PFDCPLMA. You can find the programme code on the Online Applicant Portal.
It can take up to 15 working days for bank transfers to be cleared and receipted. Transfers not properly referenced can delay receipting of the deposit.
Please only choose this option if you are unable to pay via the Online Applicant Portal.
Please call the Fees Office on +44 (0)29 2087 4399 and quote your name, application ID, and programme code. It is important that you make it clear that you are paying a deposit and that you give full details of your course.
