EPSRC Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Centre for Doctoral Training
Develop advanced knowledge and skills in compound semiconductor technology as well as developing research and professional skills and an understanding of the industry.
About the Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing CDT
Our Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) offers fully-funded PhD studentships in a variety of projects, across our Academic Schools and interdisciplinary Research Institutes. Students will benefit from an excellent local research environment as well as a comprehensive programme of research and professional skills development.
This programme offers in-depth training across the full compound semiconductor manufacturing process, blending academic study with hands-on experience. Students access world-class facilities, including cleanrooms, and benefit from strong industry links with over 30 partners. Fully funded studentships support graduates to become future leaders in academia and the semiconductor industry.
