Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

This immersive 3-day programme combines the waste reduction power of data driven Lean Six Sigma with Industry 4.0 technologies.

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a practical training program that spans a total of five days. It enables participants to immediately apply tools and techniques aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, regardless of the industry or organisation size. The training content delves into the latest research in Operational Excellence and demonstrates how these principles and techniques are utilised in manufacturing, private sector, public service, and third sector organisations.

We will also provide examples of how Lean Six Sigma principles and techniques can foster process and product innovations, helping proactive organisations adapt to the opportunities posed by digitalisation/AI.

If you have a yellow belt already (either with Cardiff Business School or from another provider) you will gain great advantage from deepening your knowledge by staying on and completing the 3 day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt programme. If you are new to Lean Six Sigma, then you can register for the entire 5 day programme where you will progress from yellow belt to green.

The first 2 days of  training, subject to passing an online exam at the end of day 2, will enable you to receive Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. In the second block, another three days of Green Belt training using a 30-day free trial of Minitab software.

Your trainer will be Professor Maneesh Kumar.
