Overview
As the Academic Manager for the School of Welsh I lead our Academic Support Team. The team supports a variety of activities including recruitment and admissions, enrolment, teaching support, student records, student cases, student voice and assessment and feedback issues. I work closely with the School’s Director of Teaching and Learning and Assessment and Feedback Lead to support learning and assessment.
Between November 2019 and April 2020, I was seconded to the role of National Project Coordinator for the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol funded Welsh Student Mentoring Scheme. As part of this role, I led the recruitment and training of undergraduate students to act as mentors for secondary school pupils in schools across Wales.
I am currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education Administration, Management & Leadership at Nottingham Trent University.
