Overview
Having worked on a variety of health related projects within Cardiff University whilst specialising in qualitative resarch methods, I am currently working for the Centre for Trials Research as a qualitative researcher for the following resarch studies:.
- The PERCEIVE Study: Prediction of risk communication of outcomes following major lower limb amputation: a collaborative study.
- The TIPTOE Study: MulTI-domain Self-management in older People wiTh OstEoarthritis with Multi-Morbidities
I am also a registered nurse and obtained a Bachelor of Nursing Degree (Hons) from the University Hospital of Wales in 1996. My clinical experience includes general medical and general surgical nursing as well as community nursing. I also hold a Master of Philosophy degree in male sexual health promotion.
My particular research interests include the areas of primary health care, care homes and infections.
