I am a Lecturer in Adult Nursing in the School of Healthcare Sciences at Cardiff University and FHEA. I am a Registered General Nurse with a clinical backround in Medicine, Haemotology and Community Nursing (including fast response services and specialist IV Therapy Nurse Services.) I teach on the Undergraduate Adult Nursing programme, Return to Practice programme and the Overseas nurse registration preparation course. My special interest is professionalism, reflective practice, leadership, primary care, evidence -based practice and clinical skills.
I joined Cardiff University in 2015 following 27 years in clinical practice, where I have had a variety of roles which have included a clinical skills Tutor and a Lecturer (Welsh) supporting Allied Health Professionals. I am currently a module lead, Deputy Programme Manager (Return to Nursing Practice) and an Academic Misconduct Coordinator.
