Research interests

Evolution of Earth as a habitable planet, and possibility of transfer of complex life from Venus. Evidence of Venusian material arriving on Earth during Cambrian and Ordovician periods. Possible links between break up of the L chondrite asteroid and the resurfacing event on Venus. Statistical Characterisation of structure within groups of points (eg star clusters, submarine pockmarks) and grey scale data (clouds); Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, particularly for the simulation of disks;
Formation and evolution of Protoplanetary Disks;
Relativistic effects in disks;
