Overview

My research interests focus on accessible interventions for mental health.

Undergraduate Education

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2020 with a class I MSci in Psychology and Psychological Research with a Year Abroad and Honours

Employment

I have worked for over two years as a private tutor teaching science, maths, psychology and English as a foreign language.

Research

Research interests

My research interests focus on accessible interventions for mental health.

I am interested in accessible interventions and increasing the accessibility of interventions for mental health. Specifically, I am researching if ‘Smart Speaker’ personal assistants can improve an individuals’ sense of agency and self-determinations to positively impact their well-being and mental health.

Teaching

I am a teaching assistant for the MSc Psychology conversion course.

Thesis

Investigating the application of ‘Smart Speaker’ personal assistants to impact independence, communication, agency and self-determination in social care settings. Therefore, can this be used as an intervention to improve well-being and mental health?
