Overview

I'm a PhD Student at Cardiff University School of Psychology, based in the Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC). I have a backround in Physics, Network Science and Computational Neuroscience.

My main research interest is using Deep Learning model to better understand the human brain as well as its structure and functioning. The main focus is multimodal understanding of intentional decision making and cognition in general.

Research

I'm currently involved in a project which aims to build a learning model able to connect brain network (graph) data from fMRI and MEG. I'm approaching this problem from different sides:

  • Deep Convolutional Neural Networks applied to Graph (Graph Convolutional Networks or GCN)
  • Spectral Decomposition of Graph and Machine Learning pipeline.

Please, see https://ccbrain.org/ for more information about my team's research.
