The module uses HSK Standard Course 4B, covering Lessons 11–15 of HSK 4 Volume 2 (to be replaced by New HSK Course 4 (HSK 3.0) upon publication).
On successful completion of the module, a student will be able to:
- read longer and more varied texts;
- express ideas in a more structured and detailed way;
- participate in extended conversations and discussions;
- discuss experiences, opinions, and social topics confidently.

Learning and teaching
This course is for learners who have completed Chinese Higher Intermediate II or equivalent study.
Classes include guided reading, discussion, communicative activities, and presentation tasks.
