This module uses New HSK Course 4B (HSK 3.0), covering Lessons 11–15.
Students will further develop their reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills through longer texts, extended discussions, and more sophisticated language use.
On successful completion of the module, a student will be able to:
- read longer and more varied texts;
- express ideas in a more structured and detailed way;
- participate in extended conversations and discussions;
- discuss experiences, opinions, and social topics confidently.
- demonstrate knowledge of approximately 1,500 Chinese words.

Learning and teaching
This course is for learners who have completed Chinese Higher Intermediate II or equivalent study.
Classes include guided reading, discussion, communicative activities, and presentation tasks.
