Nicola Phillips has been named Team Wales Chef de Mission for the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa

The Youth Games will commence in Samoa in September 2015 and will be led by Dr Nicola Phillips Chef de Mission
Nicola will lead Team Wales at the major sporting event in Samoa this coming September taking with her a wealth of Commonwealth Games experience having worked with Team Wales in both team member and leadership roles in over eight Games.
Nicola is on the Commonwealth Games board, and is also President of the International Federation of Sports Physiotherapy. "I am honoured to have been selected as Chef De Mission for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa. The Youth Games are a fantastic opportunity for young developing athletes to experience a multi-sport Games at an early stage in their sporting careers and some of our currently successful senior athletes came through his system. So I am looking forward to working with this enthusiastic team of athletes and officials over the coming months as we prepare for September 2015."

Nicki is a Reader within the School, Programme Manager for the MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy and academic lead for the University's Inspire Performance Physiotherapy clinic.
