Cardiff’s class of 2012

The University is keen to publicise any interesting or unusual story that lies behind your degree award.

Have you completed your degree against the odds? Perhaps you won an award for your academic or sporting achievements, or travelled the world as part of your research.

The University's Public Relations team would like to hear from any student graduating in July who has a story to tell and is willing to be featured in the University Newsletter, website or local media during graduation week (16-20 July 2012).

Previous examples of stories that have received publicity include, but are not limited to: family graduations (parents and their children graduating together); students who have achieved a degree despite medical or personal battles; students who have won scholarships or awards during their time at University; students who have set up their own business or undertaken charity work.

If you'd like to be considered to feature in the University's publicity for Graduation 2012 you can submit your details topublicrelations@cardiff.ac.uk. A member of the Public Relations team will respond to you and if necessary, request further information. Please include the following details in your email:

The degree or area of research you have studied

The date and time of graduation ceremony:

Your home newspaper:

Your newsworthy information (eg. Student achievements/interests etc)
