Transport MSc Student Sam Davenport has been awarded a Brian Large Bursary, the second successful bursary application this year.

The Fund's focus is on furthering education and research in transport at UK universities. It does this primarily by providing bursaries for UK residents studying full time for a taught Master's degree in Transport at a UK university.

Speaking about the award, Transport MSc Course Director Dr Dimitris Potoglou said: “This is great news for Sam and for the School of Geography and Planning.  This is the second award this year, in both cases applications for these bursaries are initiated and facilitated through the School.

The Brian Large Bursary Fund supports a few students each year who are taking a Transport Master's degree at a UK university.  The awards provide a contribution towards academic fees and living expenses during the year's study.

Information on bursaries available to transport students is available from MSc Transport Course Director Dr Dimitris Potoglou: PotoglouD@cardiff.ac.uk
