China’s leading foreign studies institution visits Cardiff Business School

Cardiff Business School has welcomed a delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) to explore opportunities for future collaboration.
The visit, held on 19 May, brought together senior representatives from both institutions to discuss ways of strengthening international partnerships in education and research.
BFSU is one of China’s foremost specialist universities and is administered by the Ministry of Education. It is included in several national excellence initiatives, including Project 211, the Project 985 Innovation Platform, and the Double First-Class scheme. Its International Business School, established in 2001, is among the university’s largest schools and holds AACSB accreditation.
The delegation was led by Professor Jun Yuan, Chair of BFSU’s Academic Committee. They were welcomed to Cardiff Business School by Professor Tim Edwards, Head of School; Professor Peng Zhou, Dean of International (China); Professor Eleri Rosier, Dean of International (India); and Dr Louise Macniven, Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions.
BFSU is a highly respected institution with a strong international profile. We look forward to exploring how our two institutions can develop meaningful and mutually beneficial collaboration.
The visit reflects Cardiff Business School’s ongoing commitment to developing impactful global partnerships that support its mission as a public value business school.
