Cardiff University and Kuwait Technical College deliver new professional development course ‘Leadership and Innovation Programme in the Age of AI’

Cardiff University’s Digital Transformation Innovation Institute with support from the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit, in partnership with Kuwait Technical College (KTech), has successfully delivered a bespoke one-week programme, Leadership and Innovation in the Age of AI, in Kuwait City. The initiative reflects Cardiff University’s commitment to global collaboration and its strategic vision for flexible lifelong learning.
The programme brought together a diverse cohort of senior professionals from across Kuwait’s key sectors, including energy and petroleum, banking and finance, government ministries, charitable organisations, and higher education institutions. Participants ranged from technical specialists and senior managers to strategic advisors, all united by a shared ambition to harness the transformative potential of artificial intelligence for organisational growth and innovation.
Developed by Cardiff University’s Digital Transformation Innovation Institute, the programme combined cutting-edge research with practical applications, drawing expertise from the School of Computer Science and Informatics and Cardiff Business School. Sessions explored global technological trends, generative AI, cybersecurity, and strategies for responsible innovation, culminating in an Innovation Showcase where participants presented collaborative projects.
Artificial Intelligence is reshaping every aspect of business and society. This programme was designed to equip leaders with the knowledge and tools to innovate responsibly and effectively in this fast-changing landscape. The engagement and insights shared by participants demonstrate the value of international collaboration in addressing these global challenges.
