CPD Unit volunteering at Bute Park

The University's CPD Unit team spent an afternoon volunteering at Bute Park, clearing brambles from paths, removing overgrown ivy, and litter picking in the city's iconic park.

The CPD Unit has taken part in a volunteering session at Bute Park, hosted by Ranger Rachel from the Bute Park team.

After a morning of training and workshops held at the Community Centre located next to Bute Park nursery, and a delicious lunch catered by The Secret Garden cafe, the CPD Unit spent an afternoon clearing paths, removing weeds and clearing ivy, as well as litter picking around the park.

Thank you to Ranger Rachel and Meriel, Bute Park Education Officer, for hosting us and educating us in local wildlife habitats!
