Introducing our new Pathways Coordinator

We are very pleased to welcome Dr Catherine Phelps to the role of Pathways Coordinator until June 2021. Catherine will be the main point of contact for those students wishing to study one of our pathways to an undergraduate degree at Cardiff University.
Adult learners who take the plunge and decide to return to study after many years away from formal education sometimes feel nervous and anxious about starting their studies.
Our part-time pathways offer support and encouragement to ensure that our students achieve their potential and are fully prepared for degree studies. Catherine comments:
“I came to further education as a mature student having originally left school at sixteen years old. I feel strongly that education can benefit both individuals and the community at large and that everyone should have equal access to education.
My postgraduate studies were at Cardiff University and I have been leading modules in English Literature and Creative Writing at the department of Continuing and Professional Education for the past few years.”
