BRE Trust Centre for Sustainable Construction hosts first virtual conference

The BRE Trust Centre for Sustainable Construction recently organised and hosted the 2020 edition of the international ICE/IEEE ITMC Conference, chaired by Professor Yacine Rezgui and Dr Thomas Beach.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic preventing the event from taking place physically, the conference switched to a virtual format with great success, with a total 95 researchers participating. This is the first time the ICE/IEEE ITMC Conference has taken place online and one of the first virtual conferences run by Cardiff University.
During the conference, a total of 75 high quality academic papers were presented and these papers will now be published by IEEE.
The 2021 edition of the conference will again be hosted by Cardiff University, this time physically in Cardiff.
