A successful teacher training seminar

On Saturday 19 October, Cardiff Confucius Institute held a training course in the Clayton Hotel for new Mandarin Language tutors who arrived in Wales in September 2019.
18 Mandarin tutors from two of the Welsh Confucius institutes (Cardiff University and University of Wales Trinity Saint David) and the British Council attended the training session.
The tutor training is funded by the British Council and Welsh Government and is organised by Cardiff Confucius Institute.
The training session was led by Carolyn Goodwin, former CILT Cymru language advisor and experienced language-teaching practitioner, and the one-day session focused on lesson planning and differentiation in the primary and secondary classroom.
