In collaboration with the Emergency Services, Grangetown Community Action, Cardiff Council and many local partners, Cardiff University's Community Gateway project will be running 'Safety Week' in Grangetown between 30th November-4th December 2015.

During the week there will be many free activities taking place across Grangetown to highlight Road Safety, Health and Wellbeing, Fire Safety, Home Safety and Safety on the Streets in order to make Grangetown an even safer and better place to live.

Events include: door to door engagement visits and home safety checks from South Wales Police and Fire and Rescue, free bike servicing from Dr Bike, cycling proficiency advice, free first aid training from St John Cymru Wales, St Fagans road closure for use of the Youth Bus and Fire and Rescue Focus ST car, Neighbourhood Watch meeting, 'Cuppa with a Copper', Search and Rescue dog demonstrations, training from Cardiff City Football Club Foundation and much more!
