Professor Sarah Lupton recently presented at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Contracts CPD Day in London.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) day aimed to increase delegates’ awareness and understanding of contracts and how to select the appropriate form of appointment and building contract for their businesses.

During the event, Professor Lupton detailed the vital importance of contracts and outlined details of the new RIBA Professional Services and Building Contracts that were introduced in 2018.

A recent review of the event by RIBA described her presentation as ‘wonderfully crisp and clear’ with Sarah drawing on her expertise as both an architect and a former member of the ARB board.

Professor Lupton will run six more workshops as part of the RIBA CPD programme. The workshops will take place across the UK. Please visit the RIBA Contracts CPD webpage for more information and how to book.
