National Table Tennis Competition Qualifiers

On 7th February Cardiff Confucius Institute was pleased to sponsor the "Confucius Institute Cup" National Table Tennis Competition in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at Coventry University and Cardiff University table tennis club.
The athletes showcased their skills in horizontal shots, spike shots and spin balls during the intense competition. After nearly two hours of play, Stuart Herriott won the title, while players Aleem Uddin and Jack Fletcher won runner-up and third runner-up.
The winner of the qualifiers will head to Coventry to attend the "Confucius Institute Cup" National Table Tennis Competition hosted by the Confucius Institute at Coventry University. Finalists will have the opportunity to travel to China for professional training in table tennis, Chinese language learning and sightseeing. Stuart Herriott said he was "delighted to be the winner of this competition and to head to Coventry for the final".
