Cover of book

We are very pleased to have authored a chapter in the new book "Managing Improvement in Healthcare: Attaining, Sustaining and Spreading Quality".

Published by Palgrave Macmillan as part of their Organizational Behavior in Health Care series, the book reflects on the challenges and opportunities of achieving improvement in healthcare systems.

Emma Barnes, Alison Bullock and Wendy Warren have authored a chapter looking at the processes and responsibilities for knowledge transfer and mobilisation in health services organisations in Wales.

Based on our qualitative study into how knowledge sources were used by NHS management to advance healthcare practice and sustainability, the study highlighted the importance of embedding knowledge mobilisation as an intrinsic part of everyone’s role, and enhancing the knowledge broker role of identified individuals, to provide visibility and structure to the process.

Further information is available on the book's webpage.
