Using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

When Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) has been activated, you will be prompted to verify your login when accessing University IT applications.

You will need to follow the instructions for your chosen method of authentication to complete the login process.

The frequency at which you are asked to authenticate via MFA may vary. Microsoft uses a risk-based approach to determine whether MFA authentication is required. For example, logging in from a new location is more likely to require MFA authentication.

If you’re unable to access your primary or secondary authentication methods you can use our self-service reset process.
