How to take part

Find out how to join our virtual celebrations for the Class of '21.

This year we are working with First Sight Media Ltd who are our partners in delivering your Class of '21 Virtual Celebrations. This year’s events will include a name call for all participating students. However, individual awards will not be read out.

To take part you must:

  1. Complete the Graduation SIMS task to notify us of your wish to take part by the end of June 2021.

The deadline for completing this task was Wednesday 30 June. If you need to contact us please email registrysupport@cardiff.ac.uk

  2. In July, you will receive an invitation from us to register with Zoom, please complete the registration as soon as possible.
  3. The event will be held in Zoom and you need to register at least 24 hours before the event using your cardiff.ac.uk email address.
  4. Once registered you will receive an email to join the event and a passcode.
  5. Download Zoom on a compatible device so you can take part.
  6. Be ready to take part in your virtual celebration 30 minutes before the event begins.

If you have family and friends joining you for the celebrations they do not need to be registered with Zoom. This is only for you and your fellow students.

Watch a video on what to expect from these events, including how to join in, what to expect before and on the day and getting the most from Zoom.

Your Class of '21 Virtual Celebrations

All those wishing to take part in their Schools virtual celebration have been sent an email with details of their Zoom registration and joining instructions. Please ensure that you register as soon as possible in advance of the event.

Family, friends and supporters can watch these celebrations on You Tube and Weibo, and can view supporters messages on Flipgrid.
