Nirushan has been involved with the Community Gateway project through the Grange Pavilion Youth Forum and has helped out with the running of lots of different activities in Grangetown, ranging from lots of different sports to mentoring and educational sessions.
He has also helped out at different events and open days at Cardiff University, providing a voice and an opportunity for the Community Gateway project to engage with young people in the Grangetown community.
Nirushan is currently studying at Cardiff University and is the Community Gateway Student Ambassador.
