Zoë Berman is a co-partner of the design office Studio Berman. Trained as an architect, she is interested in the socio-economic impact of architecture, and is a proponent of a cross-disciplinary approach towards design.

Zoë has a strong interest in cross-disciplinary design and has worked with Pentagram designers and Buro Happold engineers. With a passion for collaboration and creative projects she has worked with the Projects Office at the Cass School of Architecture as project coordinator running live projects. She is skilled in developing feasibility studies, funding applications, brief writing and project coordination.

Based in London, Zoë leads Unit 7 third year studio at the Welsh School of Architecture and is a design tutor at the new Reading School of Architecture where she co-teaches with Piers Taylor. She is part of the histories and theories teaching team at the Cass School of Architecture and runs Unit 6 Vertical Studio, an annual design and make studio held in Cumbria in the spring term. Zoë has been a visiting critic at the University of Westminster, University of Sheffield and Kingston University.

In 2013 she founded The Unpublishables, a publication written by and for young designers. She established the lecture series Criss-Cross at London Met University; a series of talks that investigated the richness of cross-disciplinary work between architecture and other creative fields.
