Call for papers
SIOE aims to provide an informal atmosphere for the discussion of research in semiconductor opto-electronics. Taking place at Cardiff University from the 4-6 of April 2023, with the conference dinner will take place a Cardiff Castle on the 5 of April.
Contributions are invited on the following topics:
- growth and fabrication, including quantum dot materials and devices
- solar cells/photovoltaics
- mid-infra-red semiconductor opto-electronics
- micro-cavity and photonic band gap effects in semiconductor optoelectronics
- gaN based materials and devices
- theory and numerical simulation of semiconductor optoelectronics
- optical detectors, modulations, amplifiers and switches
- all optical and opto-electronic integrated circuits
Submissions are sought in the form of oral (15 minutes including discussion) and poster presentation papers.
Abstracts
Abstracts should be a single sheet of A4, sent in PDF or Word document format. Please ensure you include a list of authors, affiliations and a corresponding author email.
