Call for papers

SIOE aims to provide an informal atmosphere for the discussion of research in semiconductor opto-electronics. Taking place at Cardiff University from the 4-6 of April 2023, with the conference dinner will take place a Cardiff Castle on the 5 of April.

Contributions are invited on the following topics:

growth and fabrication, including quantum dot materials and devices
solar cells/photovoltaics
mid-infra-red semiconductor opto-electronics
micro-cavity and photonic band gap effects in semiconductor optoelectronics
gaN based materials and devices
theory and numerical simulation of semiconductor optoelectronics
optical detectors, modulations, amplifiers and switches
all optical and opto-electronic integrated circuits

Submissions are sought in the form of oral (15 minutes including discussion) and poster presentation papers.

Abstracts

Abstracts should be a single sheet of A4, sent in PDF or Word document format. Please ensure you include a list of authors, affiliations and a corresponding author email.
