Cardiff is a stimulating, cosmopolitan and compact city of around 350,000 people. In recent years major developments have attracted a growing business community, including an increasing number of technology companies.
The School of Computer Science and Informatics is located in the new, purpose-built Abacws building. It is within the heart of the university next to the Students' Union and near to the new Centre for Student Life and the Innovation Campus. It is close to the centre of town and adjacent to the Cathays railway station with a range of student accommodation nearby. Enjoy a tour of Abacws on YouTube.
Our Master's degrees are largely taught within the Queen's Buildings complex, situated close to train stations, shops and student residences in Cardiff's city centre. Our postgraduate taught offerings are mostly delivered from our newly refurbished Turing Suite and Sandpit spaces, which feature fantastic facilities to encourage innovative and collaborative working.
