We would like to invite you to attend our forthcoming event on public procurement, the stewardship of public services and outsourcing in Wales. It intends to inform and stimulate civic debate about the future of public procurement in Wales and to contribute some ideas to the development of a national strategy.

The event will be informed by an expert panel as well as our forthcoming report and is aimed at senior and strategic leaders within public bodies and authorities in Wales. It will be chaired by Professor Steve Martin, Director of the Wales Centre for Public Policy and will comprise a panel discussion with plenty of opportunity for questions from the audience. We would encourage your reflective participation.

Panel:

  • Benoit Guerin, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Government
  • Liz Lucas, Head of Customer and Digital Services and former Head of Procurement at Caerphilly Council
  • John Tizard, independent commentator and report co-author
