Chinese Corner: Mid-Autumn Festival 2018

Mid-Autumn festival, also known as the Moon Festival, will fall on 24th September 2018. In China, the moon is an important symbol for family, so the festival is typically recognised as a time for family reunion and peace.

Delivered by one of the Confucius Institute"s Chinese language tutors, this evening lecture will give you the opportunity to learn more about the meaning of the festival, its tradition and customs, while enjoying some traditional Chinese snacks and (of course) the chance to practise your Chinese.
