The EDI Hub would love you to join us for a panel discussion as part of Race Equality Week 2025, themed #EveryActionCounts. This year’s theme highlights the urgent need to move beyond words and take meaningful actions to advance race equality. With only 40% of organisations focusing on action and change, this panel will explore how individuals, leaders, and organisations can ensure that every action, no matter how small, contributes to real progress. The discussion will also encompass the Welsh perspective, highlighting the significant role that the Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan can play in advancing this important work.
The event will include:
- A panel discussion led by three speakers (Professor Uzo Iwobi, Professor Emmanuel Ogbonna, and Cardiff University alumnae Sanjiv Vedi) sharing their insights, experiences, and strategies to progress race equality in workplaces and communities.
- An audience Q&A session, providing an opportunity to engage directly with the panel, ask questions and share ideas.
The panel will take place on Thursday 6 February, 15.30-17.00.
This event is open to staff, students and external partners at the university. You can register to attend and receive joining instructions by completing the registration form here
