Hosted by Cardiff University’s Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI) and System Immunity Research Institute, the Hodge Foundation Annual Meeting on Neuroimmunology will take place virtually and include an academic session followed by a public lecture.
The public lecture will be given by Professor Andy Miller, a professor of psychiatry and behavioural sciences from Emory University.
His talk is titled the Impact of Inflammation on the Brain and Behaviour in Depression: Mechanisms and Translational Implications and will be followed by a Q&A session.
The Hodge Centre for Neuropsychiatric Immunology brings together expert researchers in both neuroscience and immunology to focus on the immune processes in mental health disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and Schizophrenia.
The Hodge Foundation Annual Meeting on Neuroimmunology will take place on 18 November beginning with the academic session from 1:00-3:30pm and the public lecture from 3:40-4:35pm.
