Mabli Jones, Savanna Jones and Professor Laura McAllister CBE (PhD 1995, Hon 2013) join Dr Siwan Rosser and Dr Huw Williams from Cardiff University on Tuesday 16 March at 12.30 in what promises to be an insightful discussion about the Welsh language in the context of the pandemic.
Laura is Professor of Public Policy and the Governance of Wales at Cardiff University's Wales Governance Centre.
Mabli is the Chair of Cymdeithas yr Iaith and has been campaigning for the organisation for many years.
Savanna sits on the Mudiad Meithrin’s Board of Directors, and works in diversity, equality and inclusion in higher education.
During this webinar the speakers will discuss the future of the Welsh language, with a particular focus on education, the housing crisis, Welsh language rights, and the wider political context.

The event will be delivered in the Welsh Language, with simultaneous translation into English available.
