Dr Catherine Phelps is a tutor in Welsh Writing in English at Continuing and Professional Education, Cardiff University. Her research focuses on Welsh Writing in English, crime fiction, Gothic literature and feminism. Her talk explores aspects of her research into Welsh crime fiction written in English, ahead of the start of her forthcoming course, Cardiff Literature, in October 2019.
