Knowing to Grow

This research  considers how to meet knowledge requirements for future food supply chains, focusing on the case of horticultural production. It will draw on international experiences and stakeholder expertise to inform strategies to enhance food security in Wales and beyond.

The first project workshop will be an interactive event to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to learn about findings from the first phase, and to shape ongoing priorities, including case study selection. It will be hosted and facilitated by Dr Hannah Pitt, Sustainable Places Research Institute, Cardiff University.

The workshop

Up to 20 participants will include representatives of Lantra, AHDB, businesses, growers, FE colleges and academic researchers. Format to include presentations and interactive activities, facilitated discussions. Lunch and refreshments provided. Attendance is limited so please be sure to contact the organisers if you would like to come.
