The South-East Wales Reaching Wider Partnership is a collaborative programme led by delivery teams at the University of South Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan University and Cardiff University.

The partnership aims to increase participation in higher education by people from underrepresented groups and communities in South East Wales with a specific focus on people who live within the bottom 40% of the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation, care experienced young people, and carers.

We meet the aims of Reaching Wider through a suite of programmes to support attainment raising, increase awareness and provide support for progression to higher education and level 4 learning opportunities.

We are part of a continuum of support for learners in South East Wales and work in partnership to deliver the ‘right programmes at the right time’ to enhance progression pathways to Higher Education.

The East Delivery Team based at Cardiff University serve Newport, Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly
