History of Islam in Wales

These resources were developed in the 'Islam in Wales' research project and reflect the lived realities and contributions of Muslims across Wales.

The research was led by Dr Abdul-Azim and supported by a community of volunteers who helped document their own family history, and collect important documents and items for archiving.

  Dr Abdul-Azim Ahmed explore the stories of nine places which trace their shared history across centuries. “Fascinating, vital and beautifully illustrated it further our understanding of this evolving story and how it informs the Welsh sense of identity and belonging.
