Virtual Executive Teaching Suite (VETS)

Cardiff Business School’s Virtual Executive Teaching Suite (VETS) is a state‑of‑the‑art hybrid teaching environment designed to deliver dynamic, interactive, and flexible learning experiences for leaders and professionals.

Located in the Aberconway Building, the suite brings together in‑person participants and remote learners from around the world in a single, immersive space.

A next‑generation hybrid learning environment

VETS allows up to 96 online participants to join face‑to‑face sessions in real time. A wall of high‑definition screens, advanced audio systems, and multiple camera angles ensures that every participant, wherever they are in the world, is visible, heard, and able to actively participate in the teaching exchange.

Interactive tools support:

  • Digital whiteboarding and collaboration
  • Live polling and real‑time feedback
  • Virtual breakout groups

These features create a seamless interactive environment where discussion and engagement feel natural.

Designed for Executive Education

The VETS plays a central role in Cardiff Business School’s Executive Education portfolio, within programmes such as Help to Grow and postgraduate‑level teaching on leadership and strategic management.
