Senghennydd Court

Available to: undergraduates and postgraduates

A large hall of residence very close to the City Centre and Cathays Park campus.

This is a large hall of residence with self-catered and part catered options. It is close to the Cathays Park campus, the Students’ Union and the City Centre and is also particularly convenient for students studying Mathematics, Engineering, Physics and Astronomy or Computer Science. The evening meal service provides students with a hot meal Monday to Friday except during vacations. Generally the meals are served between 5.00pm – 7.00pm at the nearby Trevithick Restaurant in the Queen’s Buildings.

I knew from the beginning that Senghennydd Court was my first choice as student accommodation. It is very convenient, close to town and to my lectures. Certainly, living in a Welsh apartment is a huge advantage, it’s nice to live and socialise with friends. The Welsh students here get along really well and we often socialise together but we’re not ‘clique’! Everything we need as students is available for us here at Senghennydd. And there’s plenty of room in the bedrooms to make you feel at home!
