Our vision is to be a world-leading, research-excellent, educationally outstanding university.

We are driven by creativity and curiosity, fulfilling our social, cultural and economic obligations to Cardiff, Wales, the UK and the world. By fulfilling our vision we expect to improve our standing as one of the top 100 universities in the world and the top 20 in the UK.

The university is currently engaging with stakeholders in ‘Y Sgwrs Fawr – The Big Conversation’, which will help shape our future and lead to the development of our new strategy in 2024.
