Snot Shop: the biophysics of boogies

Snot Shop is an interactive activity to explain how the respiratory system works and its key components.

Snot Shop explores how humans get lung infections and the body's defence mechanisms as well as how to recognise different lung diseases and symptoms. These activities also develop lab skills including how to use basic lab equipment, manual skills, analytical skills, following scientific procedures and how to use controls in a scientific experiment. It can be adapted to suit a range of Year Groups (KS2 and 3).
