Cardiff University is a member of First Campus, a HEFCW funded Reaching Wider project in South East Wales.
The collaborative project aims to engage young people aged 10 to 16 years, and adults 21 and over with no Higher Education qualifications, from the bottom two quintiles of the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation. We also work with looked after children, care leavers and carers to help reduce the barriers to education faced by these groups.
