The Welsh School of Architecture has developed a series of teaching and learning materials that focus on introducing learners to architecture as a subject.

The materials will assist in the delivery of each of the Welsh Baccalaureate Challenges and the development of the Individual Project.

We are committed to improving our engagement with local and national primary, secondary and further education schools and colleges as part of our outreach programme.

Five of our undergraduate students have been working to create this series of exciting lessons and materials to help teachers of the Welsh Baccalaureate successfully deliver the qualification. These include:

  • worksheets
  • step-by-step lesson tasks
  • PowerPoint presentations to introduce architecture.

Undergraduate students from the Welsh School of Architecture have received support to complete this project from the University’s Schools Partnership Project and WJEC.
