Uni Inspiration Day

Our Uni Inspiration Day is a one-day event for GCSE pupils with the aim of raising the aspirations of Year 11 pupils from across Wales and promoting higher education.

The day consists of various activities such as interactive sessions and subject talks, from chemistry to food science, english literature to healthcare, giving pupils an insight into how subjects are taught at university level.

A subject fair in the afternoon then also provides them with the chance to talk to current students about their studies and what life is like as a university student.

In addition to the activities for pupils, sessions run throughout the day for accompanying adults to attend on topics such as the benefits of higher education and how to help pupils prepare for the transition to higher education.

This event is funded by First Campus and run by the Higher Education Roadshow.
