Open Days and visits for undergraduate study

Experience what it’s like to study and live in Cardiff, by exploring our campus and city, and meeting our staff and students.

Open Days are the perfect opportunity for you to experience first-hand what it’s like to study and live in Wales’ capital city. You’ll be able to:

  • find out more about your subject of interest
  • get your questions answered by our staff
  • explore our campus and city
  • take a look at our on-campus accommodation

Our next Open Days will take place on Friday 30 June and Saturday 1 July 2023 from 09:00 - 16:00.

Book now

Our programme will be available online shortly. Please note that many of our talks are repeated throughout the day, so there is no need to pre-book individual sessions once you have registered for the event.

We will also have open days in the autumn. To find out more about these events sign up to our newsletter.

To get a taste of what’s in store, browse our subject pages and accommodation information.

Self-guided campus tour

You can use our self-guided campus tour to help you explore our Cathays Park campus, which is located just a few minutes' walk from Cardiff's city centre.

The tour lasts approximately one hour, but you can also take several optional detours, depending on what you'd like to visit.

Due to COVID-19, certain restrictions may be in place. For everyone’s safety, please adhere to any extra measures in place.
